Shootmania at the French Video Games Masters

We had to wait three months after the 2011-2012 Finals of the French Video Games Masters to get some informations about the new season. After a past one that was not that successfull, lot of players wanted to know how would be the next Masters.

The Masters are coming back for 2012-2013 with same rules. You will still have to win an collect points with LAN events and online tournments, get your licence for the year to come, and some events in different parts of France.

About the games, Masters have change a lot of things. They kicked out the games that were not successfull during LAN events, and welcomed new famous ones. There will be 5 games for this season, we only know 3 of them at that moment.

Starcraft 2, A must have for every tournaments
Counter Strike Global Offensive, The last Valve game, that replace CSS and CS 1.6
ShootMania Storm, our NADEO FPS, that everybody know here, with its final release in January.

There it is for the 3 firsts competitions. But what will be the lasts ones? Dota2? Team Fortress 2? Call of duty Black ops 2? Or what we all want here, Trackmania? You can sign for Trackmania, on this PAGE

We can begin our betting now. But we may know the answer within the next few days. We will of course keep you informed!

... Je ne comprend pas pourquoi Trackmania n'est pas représenter, le jeu a fait bonne impression a l'eswc les matchs étaient beau a voir, il y avait du spectacle, des retournements de situation.
Il faut qu'on implante des armes a feu pour qu'un jeu soit reconnu ?

I would have say League of Legends (instead of DotA2), and TM2 (instead of TM2:Stadium)

@6 Ofcourse you would say that, but which of the two games have the big organisations been supporting for several years?? @5 Maybe, but ESWC have always prefered DotA so I assume they would go for it instead of LoL.

I know what you mean bergie, but all organisations gave up CS 1.6/CSS for CS:GO, why should be stay on TMNF/TM2:stad (same game) when we can grow up with TM2 stad + canyon + valley ?

Thats so fucking stupid the way they announce games like 'hey guys here are 3best game for us then we will give more info about 2last we don't really care about'.

If they want nice season with games with a lot of activity in etc they should better try to make games equal together (at least in esport way) and not to create comeptition between them.

Whats the point by creating competition between MOBA, FPS and racing game?

In the same kind of game I agree you can make rivalry between games from different devlopers but here its so retarded and senseless.

And the last two official games are CS:GO women (wtf ?!) and TF2 ...
Trackmania 2 Stadium will only in the "challenges" with Dota 2 and LoL.
I just do not understand why Cs:Go Women takes the place of a game played as ultra LoL or Dota 2 (or Trackmania yeah!), When there are already CS: GO in official game! After maybe that Lan will be totally different, we'll just look at the number of seats for each game listed...

I agree with Masters for Stadium because this year will be a transition year and if the community participate to online and offline events, we will have a final to prepare the next season. For LOL and Dota, it's very difficult to move players. For CS:GO Women, it will be a little season I think.
