mythiX Disbands TMNF Team - ManiaActu - News for TrackMania, ShootMania, and QuestMania
Welcome on ManiaActu: ManiaPlanet Community & eSport News !

Sad news reaches the shore of esports-land as mythiX eSports announces that they will disband their TMNF team effected immediately.

The team which is also known as 402 was one of the most successful teams in the history of the game with winning ESL Premiership VI, getting second at Stadium Team Championship 7 and most recently being the winner of ESL Major Series 9 in February 2012. The team also had many individual successes in their list of achievements such as getting first at Anjougame 2011 and Giant Cup 9.

The manager of the team fr Clement "Aken" Fiorio had this statement be released:

"A page turns to mythiX. The Trackmania team was one of our most brilliant sections on PC with an exceptional prizes list. Unfortunatly for us, the outputs of Trackmania 2: Canyon and ShootMania: Storm has divided its community which, today, does not produce enough young talent and has lost a part of its momentum.

With many departures occurred after the EMS X it was impossible for us to rebuild a team that can still hang podiums in international competitions when our main competitors had kept almost all of their workforce. We were in a situation in "cul-de-sac" and it was time for us to separate.

The team 402 has fully met my expectations both on the online performances and on the european events. It was a great privilege to grow with them and share the joy of a world title after months of work. I thank them for their dedication and wish them a great future!"

All is not dark and gloomy however as the ace player fr Vincent "Arti" Woznica will still remain in the organization representing them at individual events, starting with the French ESWC qualifiers.

mythiX eSports was:

  • nl Krijn "Micro" Lammers (Captain)
  • fr Vincent "Arti" Woznica
  • it Francesco "CiaP" Gavioli
  • pt Carlos "Flash'z" Resende
  • hu György "huby" Dudás
  • de Jonas "JohN" Kemmer
  • ch Loïc "loic" Bart
  • tr Mustafa "KinGoD" Yigit
  • de Florian "oNio" Roschu
  • fr Romain "Roa" Aillet
  • nl Tom "Zero" Helle

The end of a great team. They showed some great performances in the past, too bad it ends like this, but you can't say you didn't see it coming...
