For some time, the four finalists of the TrackMania 2 League are known!
The four best teams of TM2L season 2012 will fight eachother at the n!faculty stand on the GamesCom in Cologne at the 18th of August, which will decides who gets the title of best German TrackMania 2 clan.
Competitors
The following four teams qualified themselves for the finals at the GamesCom.
The seeding is made after the points and the difference in maps won.
- Lik3D - 1. place group A - Seed 1 with 15 points and 14:1
- hal.ko.- 1. place group B - Seed 2 with 15 points and 13:2
- BX3 - Winner Playoffs #1 - Seed 3 with 12 points and 12:3
- Amok - Winner Playoffs #2 - Seed 4 with 9 points and 10:5
Mode and timeplan
The (semi)finals will be played in Single Elimination with four teams, which gives a total of four matches.
Seed 1 will play agains seed 4 and seed 2 against seed 3. In the finalround the winners and losers of the semifinals will compete against eachother.
- 12:00 - Registering teams at the n!faculty stand in hall 10.1
- 13:00 - Semifinal #1 - Lik3D vs. Amok
- 14:00 - Semifinal #2 hal.ko vs. BX3
- 16:00 - Game for 3. place - losing team SF #1 vs. losing team SF #2
- 17:00 - Final - winner SF #1 vs. winner SF #2
Maps
The five finalmaps are the five competitively seen best maps out of the mappack of the season.
These are:
- TM2L Great WM by andriv
- TM2L Mion by figos
- TM2L Ragequit by Smety
- TM2L Scream by kamakaze
- TM2L Q by wormii
For every match, both teams choose one map, the rest of the five maps will be played in BO3 mode till 7 points (with tennismode).

Alongside the preperations of the finals and during the finals itself, is TM2L looking for the three most loved tracks in the TM2L 2012 mappack.
The authors of these maps will be given some NADEO goodies.

- drive the tracks
- use the "Track-Karma" option (help: '/karma help')

That is a good question.
Is BX3 German? :P HF on my map & others too!
As far as I know it's restricted to German players with one foreign player allowed and not the organizations nationality.
I don't see any interest preventing foreigners to play this competition ... hope the improvement between the 2 editions will continue to allow everybody to play
